The Settlers Walk Board of Directors held a special meeting on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 for the purpose of voting on two proposed community projects. The community was well represented by 148 households, which is over 50% of the entire community!

 

After the ballots were collected and tallied the community voted AGAINST BOTH projects.

 

Voting Results for each proposed project:

 

Proposed Project Number 1

Installation of LED “down” lights on the tennis courts

78 NO VOTES

70 YES VOTES

 

Proposed Project Number 2

Installation of a multipurpose sports court on the existing multipurpose field near tot lot II

90 NO VOTES

58 YES VOTES

 

A special thank you goes out to Julie O’Neil who helped with the PowerPoint presentation by presenting both projects to those in attendance at the meeting.

 

Additionally, the Board wants to thank all of those who attended the meeting to voice their opinions about each of the projects.
